CUSTOM LIBRARY
I was brought in on this job by Fotis Lambros Construction & Renovations Inc. Fotis was contracted by Abbott Brown Architects to build this custom library and home office in a well-known Halifax heritage home, built in 1840. Fotis and I worked side by side through all phases of this build.
PURPOSE BUILT STORAGE
Pre-painting: view of shelving and cabinets. This is the entrance wall to the library.
FLOOR TO CEILING SHELVING
The library was designed to take advantage of all wall space. For example, the tall narrow bookcase built in to the left of the window.
MAXIMIZING SPACE
The uneven walls of a heritage home, a tight space, and obstacles like the radiator present cabinetry challenges that require skill and precision.
