THE R&R
END TABLES

Commissioned to sit at either end of a sofa, these tables are a merging of modern lines (a nod to Eames) and old materials. The materials include barn board, pallet wood, and 100-year-old moldings. A strip of blue-stained oak runs along each table's side.
SAME, BUT DIFFERENT
The tables are designed as a pair but intentionally, one to the other; the tops are different woods, and the blue stripes are inset in different places.
SIDE DETAIL
Layers of laminated woods add diversity of texture and colours to the composition.
TOP DETAIL
The tops of the tables are made from the 100- year old moldings that have been flipped upside-down.
